Like most people, I had attended numerous weddings which all seemed the same … well, what I could hear of the ceremony, that is. I became a marriage celebrant because, at that time, there seemed to be a genuine shortage of quality providers; and I wanted as many couples as possible to experience not just something cost effective, but a truly wonderful day that provides happy memories for you and your partner, and indeed your family and friends – for the rest of your lives.

I enjoy providing a service that I know is professional and equal to the best standards out there. I love being able to help you achieve a meaningful and memorable celebration. To say what I like most about my job is making people happy is a fairly standard response for a celebrant. What I like most is knowing that I gave you the very best there is.

I have over 10 years’ experience as a qualified, proficient celebrant; having been appointed as a Commonwealth Registered Marriage Celebrant by the Attorney General in early 2004. I have a broad range of skills that enable me to think outside the square. I have Cert IV Marriage Celebrancy, Cert IV Small Business Management, Adv. Dip in HRM, and regularly perform Ongoing Professional Development training.

As a true professional, I am a member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants and ensure professionalism and compliance with the Marriage Act & Regulations and the correct and timely completion of all legal documentation. I have a Limited Copyright license to enable the reproduction of poetry / verse and other copyrighted works for your ceremony. I also have a Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance, and I abide by the Code of Practice as described in Reg. 37L of The Marriage Act, 1961.

Those occasions such as the Naming Ceremony for your new baby / toddler, the Renewal / Re-Affirmation of your Wedding Vows, or perhaps to mark a Special Anniversary, a Commitment Ceremony, that significant Birthday event (21st, 30th, 40th, 50th – 100th), New house / House Warming, or any other Special Celebration.

My aim is to always ensure that your ceremony and celebrations reflects your world, who you are, and echoes your values, beliefs, and visions.
